Truly a giver

At any given time and at any place in this world someone is killing somebody to survive, whether they like it or not but they are killing. From a Blue Whale to us humans, we live when we kill. Either we slaughter the whole being or scrape the part of the creature because yes, life must go on.  In school we all learnt about the food chain and how the ecosystem works, as we grow the memories start fading, nearly forgetting the base of the food chain. The greens, the plants and trees which form the base are the only creatures in this world that doesn’t kill another living being to grow and survive. Yes, there are some exceptions here as well but do we even count the droplets of water in an ocean! Just like any other afternoon, after filling my belly with food and enjoying the sun shining very harsh from my window in an air conditioned room this thought flew to me. Maybe this came from a Jamun tree who was soaking in the sun, blocking dust and filtering air which we were very busy poll...

Wild wild flower

  Just grow a little, step by step every day and bloom in the sunshine is what she whispered in my ears. It’s okay if you don’t make it perfectly but finish what you start, the wind told. Looking at her I realized she truly stands by what she says, drop by drop she kept the waste water absorbing and produced a new leaf every day until she was strong enough to create a flower. It stuns me to see the amount of patience and wisdom these tiny creatures hold in them, they are the one which gives me hope and an instant smile. Here, I am talking about a wild trailing plant which is growing beside the wall of our work place. This little one has very green heart shaped leaves, it gives out paper thin white purplish flowers which are like moonlight shining in the full sun. Just looking at her can bring down the turmoil of thoughts.                                              ...
